God’s Simple Plan of Salvation

Are You Sure About Heaven?

Think carefully on this soul searching question — “If you were to die right now, do you know for sure you would go to Heaven?” If your answer is anything other than, “YES, I am absolutely certain that my sins are forgiven and that Heaven will be my home”, then here is an important message just for you. The Bible teaches that you need to know and believe four things to settle…

First, you have sinned against God.

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23 Then, God tells us where sin leads-

“For the wages of sin is death;” Romans 6:23

The wonderful news of the Bible is that Jesus died in your place to pay the penalty for your sin.

“But God commendeth (demonstrated) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Now, here is what God wants you to do:

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9). “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out” (Acts 3:19).

Repenting, or being sorry for your sin and willingness to turn from your sin, is required to be saved. Salvation is through faith by grace, not works.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

God wants you to believe His Word and take Christ as your personal Savior.

IF YOU WILL –
Then right now, pray a simple prayer, asking the Lord to save you – (remember, the words of this prayer do not save you, but it is what you believe in your heart).

“Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner, and that you died for me in my place to pay the penalty for my sin. I believe you not only died for me, but you rose again from the dead. Please forgive me of my sins and save me right now, and not only be my Savior, but the Lord of my life. Thank you for saving me! In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
